About Ginen i Tåsi

Ginen i Tåsi (From the Ocean) was created from the internal need to be connected to our CHamoru (Chamorro) identity. We are both indigenous, local and self-taught carvers, who use genuine Mariånas spondylus to create beautiful pieces. These pieces are inspired by traditional artifacts, ancestral body ornamentation, flowers, concepts and our personal experiences that has led us to this very moment. We are based on the island of Saipan and we have been growing in carving for 3+ years. We are grateful for all of the support throughout our journey.
